The Exotic Lombok
3 days 2 nights
Day #1: Departure from Senggigi Beach to Bayan is scheduled for 7 AM. The journey heads north, showcasing the stunning coastal landscapes of the island's northwest. As we travel, the scenery continually transforms, featuring rice fields, villages, lava beaches, and views of Mount Rinjani. The trekking adventure begins at 8 AM upon arrival at the starting point in the north and is expected to last approximately 4 hours. It offers a captivating experience through rice fields and terraces. The latter half of the trek leads through a verdant rainforest, culminating in visits to Lombok's renowned waterfalls, Sendang Gila and Tiu Kelep. Post-trekking, lunch is served at a local restaurant. The excursion then continues eastward, passing through the mountainous landscapes of Sembalun Lawang and Sembalun Bumbung. A stop at Bukit Selong presents a panoramic view of rice fields and the surrounding areas of Sembalun Lawang and Sembalun Bumbung. The day concludes with an arrival in Tetebatu for an overnight stay at a hotel of your choice (hotel not included: Find your hotel here!). A photo opportunity awaits at Pusuk Sembalun before settling in Tetebatu for the night.
Day #2: We set off from Tetebatu at 8:30 AM and make our way further east. A brief interlude in the rainforest allows for an encounter with the majestic Lian trees and a chance for selfies. The journey continues through picturesque rice fields and numerous villages en route to the east coast. The day's highlight includes snorkeling around the secluded Gilis: Gili Lampu, Gili Kapal, and Gili Bidara, coupled with a visit to the Mangrove forest, ensuring an unforgettable eastern expedition. Keep an eye out for the many blue sea stars at the snorkeling spots. As there are no restaurants available in this region, lunch will not be provided; however, snacks and fruits will be available throughout the day. In the late afternoon, we travel to Kuta in the south for an overnight stay at a hotel of your choice (hotel not included).
Day #3: Departure at 8:30 AM. This journey takes us further west along the southern coastal route, with several stops at picturesque beaches including Tanjung Aan, Mawun, and finally, Selong Blanak Beach. Here, you have the opportunity to learn surfing during a three-hour session (additional fee: USD 25 per person). In the afternoon, we proceed to Sukarara, a village renowned for its weaving. You will observe the local women expertly weaving for many hours on their terraces to earn supplementary income. The materials used are of high quality and suitable for export.
